My family has proudly called East Gwillimbury home for generations.
I’m running for responsible growth, respect for tax dollars, and a strong voice for residents.

Meet Catherine
Long before Catherine considered running for Town Council, East Gwillimbury was simply home.
More than 50 years ago, Catherine's grandparents purchased a farm on Warden Avenue in Queensville, planting roots that continue today. Born in Newmarket, Catherine has spent most of her life in the community she now proudly calls home. Today, she and her husband, Eric, are raising their family in East Gwillimbury, creating a new generation of memories in the place that has shaped so much of their lives.

My Guiding Principles.
These three principles will guide how I make decisions, ask questions, and represent our community at Council.
Responsible Growth
Growth should keep pace with infrastructure and services while protecting East Gwillimbury. I’ll ask the hard questions, challenge growth that gets ahead of infrastructure, and support development only when it works for the community as a whole.
Strong Community
Strong communities are built by people who feel connected and supported. I’ll support local businesses, parks, recreation, and gathering spaces that help Sharon and Queensville remain strong, vibrant communities as we grow.
Open & Transparent Leadership
Residents deserve to know what Council is considering and why. I’ll communicate openly, explain where I stand, and make sure residents understand major decisions before Council votes, not after.

How I’ll Approach Decisions
Good leadership isn’t about having all the answers. It’s about asking the right questions, listening to residents, understanding the facts, and making responsible decisions.
Practical decisions grounded in facts and focused on what works.
Common Sense
Listen First
Residents deserve to be heard before important decisions are made.
Every tax dollar matters, and every decision should consider value and long-term impact.
Respect for Taxpayers
